"I just decided that I was going to enjoy it, no matter what went wrong," remembers Jami. Happily, the celebration of their love was a success, and it all began with Jonathan's creative marriage proposal: a New Year's Day scavenger hunt around his parents' home. Jami's instructions ended in the basement, where, while looking for what she thought was an appliance, she was surprised by Jonathan kneeling before her with a sparkling engagement ring. Their special affection for each other never paled during their months apart and both Jami and Jonathan felt blessed.
From their wedding night at the Grove Park Inn to a Sunday brunch at Jamis parent's home and then to a romantic getaway in the Cayman Islands, newlyweds Jami and Jonathan never looked back, but instead forward to their new lif in Nebraska and more perfect days ahead.
Although Jami and Jonathan traveled from the church to the reception in a silver mustang convertible driven by the best man, Jonathan's brother, they later slipped into a horse drawn carriage on the biltmore estate grounds for the ride up to the Deerpark restaurant for the bride, the most memorable aspect of her wedding was enjoying the company of her family and friends. Tha's one reason she and photographer Audrey Goforth decided to take many of the photos before the ceremony.
